Christ the Redeemer Nursery

At Christ the Redeemer Nursery, we believe that every child is special and our curriculum seeks to promote the holistic development of each child. We aim to ensure that all children progress at their own rate.

They will have opportunities to develop values, positive attitudes, skills and concepts and to acquire knowledge and understanding in a secure and happy environment. Our Nursery is bright and spacious and is equipped and resourced to the highest standard. The Nursery day begins at 8:45am and ends at 1:15pm and children receive a snack and lunch daily. The Nursery has 52 full-time spaces.

The Nursery is an integral part of Christ the Redeemer Primary School. As such, the Nursery seeks to foster the same Catholic attitudes and value system, prevalent throughout the school.

Our Nursery Aims

To provide a welcoming, safe, stimulating and challenging environment for all our pupils.

To provide a broad and balanced curriculum which will help develop the whole child – socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically and creatively.

We aim to meet each child’s individual needs ensuring equality of opportunity.  To develop a close and open partnership with our parents and other professionals.  To develop in each child a respectful and caring attitude towards others, their environment and people of different ethnic groups and cultures.  To foster a love of learning and to develop lively and inquiring minds.

To enable all the children in our care to become independent, self-confident and happy individuals.  To observe, assess and keep records on each child to help meet their individual needs and to ensure continuity and progress in learning.  To provide a staff that is motivated, dedicated and up-to-date with all recent nursery initiatives and training.
